Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and room patients, obtain vital signs, and document health information.
• Perform laboratory procedures using aseptic technique and infection control guidelines.
• Assist physicians with procedures and surgeries as listed (e.g., pelvic exams, scratch testing).
• Administer medications under orders, including immunizations and insulin; manage IV therapy within limits.
• Provide basic patient education on tasks and self-care.
• Coordinate tests, prescriptions, referrals, and follow-up appointments.
• Document patient information accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain equipment; assist with lifting and transporting as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement activities.
