Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Charlotte, NC team. You will prepare patients for exams, perform labs, assist providers with procedures, administer medications, and educate patients on self-care while coordinating care with the health team.

Requirements include completion of a Practical Nursing program and an active LPN license; BLS certification must be obtained within 45 days of start.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required for the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification within 45 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and room patients for exams including vitals and health information.
• Perform laboratory procedures using aseptic technique and infection control guidelines.
• Assist physicians with procedures and surgeries as needed.
• Administer medications per orders including injections and IV therapy where applicable.
• Provide patient education and coordinate care with the health-care team.
• Document patient conditions accurately and timely in records.
