Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Per Diem Licensed Practical Nurse for the Chesapeake Detention Facility in Baltimore, MD. The role provides holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under supervision of RNs and medical staff.

Responsibilities include responding to a range of health needs within the facility while maintaining compliance with security and clinical protocols. Per diem shifts are available, with 8-hour shifts on Mondays and Fridays as needed.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Maryland required.
• Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in clinical settings preferred.
• Corrections experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Partnering with Talantage, LLC., we are currently seeking a Per Diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Chesapeake Detention Facility - located in Baltimore, Maryland.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Maryland
• Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred
• Corrections experience preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Available shift: Every other Monday & Friday 8-hour shifts
