Job summary

Centurion Health in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Per Diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Chesapeake Detention Facility. The LPN provides holistic nursing care within the scope of practice under the direction of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff to incarcerated patients.

Requirements include an active Maryland LPN license, CPR/BLS certification, and at least one year of LPN experience in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Maryland (Maryland).
• Minimum of 1 year of LPN experience in a community outpatient clinic, hospital, or long-term care facility preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required or maintained.
• Corrections experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under RN and medical/psychiatric staff supervision.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs within the appropriate scope of practice.
