Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Wakulla Correctional Institution Annex in Crawfordville, FL. This full-time night shift position (7 PM–7:30 AM) requires a Florida LPN license and CPR certification to address a range of health needs under RN supervision.

Corrections experience is not required, and the ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and background check, is necessary.

Responsibilities

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Corrections experience not required
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check
