Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team at Wabash Valley Correctional Facility in Carlisle, Indiana. This full-time role offers day or night shifts and a starting pay of $25-$33 per hour, with a $7,500 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Under the direction of RNs and medical staff, you will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients, perform routine assessments, and respond to a range of health needs within your scope of practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• LPN license or ability to obtain one required.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under RN and medical staff supervision.
• Perform routine assessments and respond to physical and behavioral health needs.

3/12 Day Shift are available

6am-6:30pm

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
