Job summary

Centurion is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Plainfield Correctional Facility team in Plainfield, Indiana. The LPN will deliver holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under RN direction and will respond to a range of health needs within the facility.

Qualifications include an LPN license (or compact/multi-state), CPR certification, and the ability to obtain a security clearance; shifts are 12-hour, with day and night options and comprehensive benefits.

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Indiana Department of Correction. We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Plainfield Correctional Facility located in Plainfield, Indiana.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or compact/multi state license
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Available shifts: 12 hour shifts, full-time days and full-time nights
