• Must be appropriately and actively certified in CPR.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
• Work under the direction of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff to respond to health needs.
• Contribute to clinical care plans and patient safety within a correctional facility.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
