Job summary

Homestead Estates of Leawood is seeking an LPN to join our team. You will provide patient care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and work closely with physicians, patients, and families.

Responsibilities include maintaining medical records, ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements, and communicating progress to patients and families. Join our supportive, employee-friendly environment and take part in our scholarship program and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Provide patient care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and coordinate with physicians, patients and families.
• Maintain and review clinical records to support patient care and progress.
• Monitor compliance with state and federal requirements including infection control and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide a provision of care to patients in accordance with their care plans. May require conferences with physician, patient, family members and other staff involved with patient’s care.
• Communicate with patient and family regarding education and progress of patient.
• Review and maintain all clinical records, which are required for patient’s care and progress.
• Review weekly reports to monitor personal and staff compliance to all State and Federal requirements including blood borne pathogens, hazardous materials, infection control, and fire safety
