Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. in Osawatomie, KS is seeking an LPN to join our team under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.

You will provide patient care in accordance with care plans and collaborate with physicians, patients, families, and staff. You will maintain clinical records, educate patients and families, and monitor compliance with Kansas and Federal requirements, including infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Licensed practical nurse (LPN) in good standing.
• Ability to follow care plans and coordinate with physicians.
• Excellent patient and family communication skills.
• Experience with clinical records and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide a provision of care to patients in accordance with their care plans; may require conferences with physician, patient, family, and other staff.
• Communicate with patient and family regarding education and progress of patient.
• Review and maintain all clinical records required for patient care and progress.
• Review weekly reports to monitor compliance with Kansas and Federal requirements including blood borne pathogens, hazardous materials, infection control, and fire safety.
