The Rosewood at Tybee Island in Tybee Island, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead a licensed practical/vocational nurse team and certified nursing assistants, ensuring holistic care and adherence to all regulations.

Responsibilities

• Directs the daily activities of the licensed practical/vocational nurse and certified nursing assistants in accordance with current regulations and facility policies.
• Follows the nursing model to promote holistic care for residents.
• Ensures policies and procedures are complied with by nursing personnel.
• Participates in admission, discharge and transfers of residents as required.
• Assesses changes in residents’ status, notifies physician and family, documents accordingly.
• Transcribes physician orders to medical records and carries out orders as written.

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience in long-term care preferred but not required.
• A Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in practicing state.
• Current CPR certification.
