Job summary

Home Care At Its Best in Manhattan seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient care, document progress, and administer treatments. The role requires an active LPN license and radiates through a variety of shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to fulfill the needs of our longtime patients and gain more knowledge about respiratory care. As a HCAIB nurse, you will be responsible for the following:

• Assess and document patient progress in the Alayacare medical record app.
• Obtain changes in physician’s orders as indicated by resident’s progress or lack of progress.
• Follow infection control policies and procedures.
• Communicate pertinent information about resident condition and progress to Director of Nursing, as indicated.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately as ordered by the physician and according to all facility policies and procedures.
• Perform respiratory care using tracheostomy, gastronomy, and ventilator technology as indicated by plan of care.

Full-time and part-time hours available.
