Amedisys is seeking a licensed practical nurse to serve patients in Westminster, Fitchburg, Lunenburg and surrounding towns. This full-time daytime role covers a broad home health territory in Massachusetts, with emphasis on compassionate patient care delivered in the comfort of patients' homes.

You will verify care plans with RNs, collaborate with physicians, teach patients self-care, monitor vitals, reconcile medications, and perform procedures as ordered.

Formación

• One year of clinical LPN experience.
• Current LPN license for the state(s) you are assigned to work.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and liability insurance.

Responsabilidades

• Verify plan of care with the RN prior to each visit.
• Collaborate with physician and RN to ensure patient needs are met; notify changes promptly.
• Teach patients and caregivers self-care techniques.
• Check vital signs at visits.
• Review medications and perform medication reconciliation.
• Perform specialized procedures ordered by physician (e.g., foley catheter changes).
• Prepare equipment and materials for treatments using aseptic technique.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.

Attractive pay

• $27.60/hr to $34.50/hr
