Loyal Source is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to perform duties ranging from entry level to first line supervision in a correctional health setting in Virginia. Under RN supervision, you will provide fundamental nursing care, administer medications, and maintain patient records to support patient outcomes.
Requirements include at least 1 year of LPN experience, BLS certification, and a current LPN license with IV certification within 90 days preferred.
Licensed practical nurses performing duties ranging from entry level to first line supervision. Employees provide a variety of patient care activities such as administering medications, maintaining patient records, and assisting in the treatment and direct care of patients. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides fundamental physical and psychological nursing care to patients as part of the multidisciplinary team in accordance with the facilities mission, Virginia Department of Corrections Standards, physician, and patient expectations.
Pay Rate: $36/hr
