Job summary

Aventura at Walton Hills in Kentucky is now hiring licensed practical nurses (LPNs) for full-time and part-time positions. You will provide compassionate nursing care, administer medications, monitor residents, and support CNAs in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License.
• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• CPR/BLS Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Previous nursing experience preferred (long-term care experience is a plus, but not required).
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing compassionate nursing care according to individualized care plans.
• Administering medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Monitoring residents' conditions and documenting changes.
• Assisting with assessments and care planning.
• Supervising and supporting CNAs and nursing assistants.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Responding confidently during emergencies.
• Educating residents and families on health management.
• Promoting a safe, comfortable, and caring environment.
• Collaborating with physicians, RNs, and the interdisciplinary care team to provide exceptional resident care.

Education

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program

CPR/BLS Certification

EMR experience (preferred)
