Job summary

Mosaic in Grand Island, Nebraska, is looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

This full-time day-shift role offers a supportive, family-like culture with a $5000 welcome bonus. You will coordinate holistic care, mentor staff, advocate with physicians and families, and build strong relationships with those we serve.

Qualifications

• Active Nebraska RN or LPN license and a Nursing degree (BSN or ADN).
• Minimum of 1 year of general nursing experience.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel between locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate holistic care for a dedicated group of individuals.
• Be a clinical mentor, providing guidance to direct support staff on healthcare needs and safety.
• Advocate with physicians and families to ensure the highest quality of life for those we serve.

What We're Looking For

• The Right Credentials: An active RN/LPN license in Nebraska and a degree in Nursing (BSN or ADN).
• Experience: At least one year of general nursing experience under your belt. NEW NURSES WELCOME!
• Safety First: A valid driver's license and current CPR/First Aid certification.
• A Can-Do Attitude: The ability to travel between locations and work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the people we serve.
• Physical Stamina: You're comfortable being on the move-walking, standing, and the ability to safely transfer up to 50 pounds when needed.
