Job summary

I & S Group, Inc. is seeking a Land Surveyor in Cleveland, OH to join the Geospatial team. The role focuses on turning survey data into precise maps, boundary determinations, and support for public works, water and commercial projects.

The candidate should be licensed or on track for licensure, proficient with Trimble/Leica/Topcon equipment, and capable of AutoCAD Civil 3D work. Travel and outdoor conditions are expected as part of field operations.

Qualifications

• Formal education in surveying or geography-related field; licensure path expected.
• Experience with surveying methods and field-to-record workflows.

Responsibilities

• Assist in proposals, estimate project costs and communicate with clients.
• Perform limited fieldwork, drafting, record research, data analysis and land descriptions.
• Oversee collection of high-quality survey data for maps, reports, and descriptions.
• Establish legal boundaries for properties using field data and records.
• Coordinate survey findings with design teams and staff.
