Job summary

ISG is seeking a Land Surveyor to join its Geospatial team in Cleveland, OH. You will transform raw data into reliable land descriptions, contribute across Public Works, Water, and Commercial projects, and work with leading field equipment.

The role emphasizes client communication, data quality, and collaboration with design teams. Travel may be required, and licensure within 6 months is supported.

Qualifications

• Formal education in surveying, civil engineering, or GIS with foundational experience.
• Licensure in surveying (PLS) or eligibility to obtain licensure within 6 months.
• Familiarity with survey hardware and software including Trimble, Leica, Topcon, etc.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in proposals, estimate project costs, and communicate with clients.
• Perform limited fieldwork, drafting, data analysis, and land descriptions.
• Oversee collection of survey data for maps, reports, and descriptions.
• Oversee surveys to establish legal boundaries from field data and records.
