Neff & Associates is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor, P.S. (or S.I. working towards P.S.) in the Greater Cleveland area. The role focuses on boundary, ALTA, subdivision plat, and topographic surveys with an office-based emphasis and limited field work.

Candidate must have 3+ years in Ohio and either be licensed or pursuing Ohio P.S. licensure; proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble equipment is essential, with strong research and platting familiarity.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in Ohio.
• S.I. working toward P.S. or licensed Ohio P.S.
• Office-based position with limited field work.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Familiar with land records research and platting in NE Ohio.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, subdivision plats, and topographic surveys.
• Prepare right-of-way plans and legal descriptions.
• Generate staking points and process field data.
• Direct field personnel to meet Ohio standards.
• Coordinate with County and City agencies in Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio.

IMMEDIATE OPENING – Professional Land Surveyor, P.S. (or S.I working towards P.S.)

Years of Experience:

• 3+ years minimum within the State of Ohio

Description:

• We are expanding our Survey Department and are looking for qualified Surveyors.

Skills Required:

• Applicant should be a S.I. working towards an Ohio P.S. license or currently a licensed Ohio P.S.
• Survey field crew looking to transition to the office environment are encouraged to apply.
• Duties include the preparation of Boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, Subdivision Plats, Topographic surveys, right-of-way plans, Legal Descriptions, generate staking points, and processing of field data.
• Applicant must be familiar with land record research and platting requirements within County and City agencies around the Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio areas.
• Ability to direct field personnel to perform field surveys to State of Ohio minimum standards or above.
• This position will be an office based position with minimal outside field work.
• Demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Understanding of Trimble survey equipment and data collection.
• Project scheduling, personnel management, and work production techniques.
