Job summary

ISG in North Olmsted, OH is seeking a Land Survey Crew Chief to lead field crews on Public Works, Water, Commercial, and other projects. You will collect field data, operate Trimble/Leica/Topcon hardware, and ensure accuracy of notes, drawings, and QA/QC.

This is a hands-on outdoor role requiring travel and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team. The position offers competitive hourly compensation, a path to employee ownership, and opportunities across multiple business units.

Qualifications

• Field data collection experience required.
• Able to operate survey equipment in outdoor environments.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Collect quality field survey data at project pace.
• Prepare field drawings and notes per standards.
• Familiarize with Trimble/Leica/Topcon equipment.
• Assemble instruments for assignments.
• Ensure equipment is loaded and charged for next task.
• Provide positive client relations in the field.
• Be a team player and support colleagues.
• Process LiDAR data into aligned point clouds.
• Extract features from photogrammetry for base maps.
