Qualifications

• Minimum education is an Associate degree or higher.
• Licensed in Ohio PT/OT/AT Board.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers physical therapy treatments and modalities under a Physical Therapist.
• Instructs and assists patients and families in continued therapy and use of adaptive equipment.
• Observes and reports patients' responses and progress to the Physical Therapist.
• Collaborates with Physical Therapist and health team members to plan and coordinate treatment.
• Precepts students and interns from participating colleges/universities.
• Keeps abreast of current developments and new technology in physical therapy.
• Provides orientation to new staff and volunteers.
• Maintains safety of the work environment and reports hazards.
• Demonstrates Mercy Health Mission and core values in daily practice.
