Job summary

Mercy Health in Perrysburg, Ohio seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide skilled therapeutic interventions under the direction of a Physical Therapist. You will document treatment and patient progress, support education for patients and families, and participate in the continuum of care across outpatient, inpatient, pediatric, and off-site locations.

The role requires licensure, with BLS preferred on hire and training within 30 days for certain facilities.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of current practice (required)
• BLS Basic Life Support (preferred upon hire, required within 30 days for some sites)

Responsibilities

• Provides age-appropriate therapeutic interventions as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Maintains accurate treatment records and documents patient progress.
• Monitors patient response to treatment and reports to Physical Therapist.
• Precepts students during clinical internships when applicable.
• Adheres to department safety, infection control, and timecard procedures.
