Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support the Physical Therapist in providing therapy services. This role includes performing delegated procedures, documenting progress, and ensuring patient safety while addressing age-specific needs.

You will coordinate with the department and supervise aides as directed by the PT. Education required is an Associate's degree with current licensure in the state of practice and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Currently licensed in the state of practice or holding a state-authorized temporary permit/license where applicable.
• Entry-level eligible for this role.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapist in delivering physical therapy procedures.
• Document patient progress notes accurately.
• Coordinate workload and supervise technician as directed by PT.
