The Physical Therapist role at Lakeland Care Solution is primarily onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Cape Coral. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations of patients referred from physicians, creating tailored treatment plans that address individual needs, objectives, and recovery goals.
• Implement a range of treatment modalities including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and pain management techniques while regularly assessing patient progress and adapting treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate and instruct patients and their caregivers about injury prevention strategies and the anatomy of their conditions to foster understanding and reinforce adherence to the prescribed therapy regime.
• Document all patient interactions, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress, ensuring that all records comply with regulatory standards and are accessible for interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Engage in a proactive approach to managing patient outcomes by participating in weekly team meetings to discuss cases and strategize on approaches that maximize recovery potential.
• Promote excellent customer service and foster positive relationships with patients by demonstrating empathy, understanding, and ongoing support throughout their treatment journey.
• Achieve defined minimum utilization targets and contribute to the overall operational effectiveness of the Rehabilitation Center.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with patients across various stages of rehabilitation, employing targeted strategies to enhance their physical function and overall well-being. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited, APTA or CAPTE-approved institution is required.
• A current state license to practice physical therapy in the state of Florida is necessary.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with proficiency in digital documentation and electronic medical record systems.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
