Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, creating personalized treatment plans that address specific needs.
• Implement effective therapeutic interventions using techniques aligned with the latest research in physical therapy.
• Monitor and document patient progress regarding functional goals, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Provide education to patients and their caregivers on treatment protocols, exercise regimens, and injury prevention strategies.
• Facilitate communication within the therapeutic team to enhance the delivery of care and leverage multidisciplinary approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will treat a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and pediatric needs. By understanding the unique circumstances and goals of each patient, you will play a crucial role in their healing journey, utilizing individualized techniques and motivating them towards recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and team members alike.
• Proficient in using electronic health records and other relevant technology for effective patient management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, essential for patient education and collaboration within the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical physical therapy setting, particularly in outpatient care.
• Experience working with a variety of patient populations, including pediatric and geriatric demographics.
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is highly preferred.
• Current CPR certification is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 - 120,000 annually, based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package. This includes performance-based incentives that reward exceptional work, as well as reimbursement for local and national organization dues and licensure renewal fees.
