HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PRN) to join our Kingwood campus in Houston, TX. You will deliver individualized therapy under PT supervision, focusing on restoring mobility and independence for our patients.

Responsibilities include leading therapeutic exercises, implementing PT modalities, documenting progress, and educating patients and families on home programs. Requires Texas LPTA license, an associate degree, and 1–2 years in rehab.

Qualifications

• Must have an active Texas LPTA license.
• Associates degree from therapy program required.
• 1–2 years rehab experience preferred.
• Ability to work 2 shifts per 4-week rotation including weekends/holidays.

• Applying physical therapy techniques and modalities to reduce pain and restore function.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering therapeutic exercises and functional training to help patients regain independence and mobility

• Working closely with PTs, nurses, aides, and the care team to enhance the patient experience and support a culture of excellence

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• (LPTA) Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Texas is required

• A minimum of an Associate Degree from a therapy program is required

• 1-2 years experience in a rehab setting required

• Must be able to work 2 shifts per 4 week rotation, to include weekends and occasional holidays
