Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PRN) to join our Cypress, TX team. You will provide patient-centered rehab services, collaborate with supervising PTs, and contribute to a culture of excellence in a hospital setting.

As a PTA, you will perform prescribed exercises, monitor progress, and educate patients and families on home programs, ensuring safe and effective care. This PRN role supports flexible scheduling within a large health system.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering therapeutic exercises and functional training to help patients regain independence and mobility

• Applying physical therapy techniques and modalities to reduce pain and restore function

• Monitoring patient progress and documenting responses to ensure safe, effective care

• Teaching patients and families how to use assistive devices and follow home exercise programs

• Working closely with PTs, nurses, aides, and the care team to enhance the patient experience and support a culture of excellence

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support

• (LPTA) Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Texas is required

• Associate Degree from a PTA program is required

• A min of 1-2 years experience in a rehab setting required

• Must be able to work 2 shifts per 4 week rotation
