Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in Texas to deliver hands-on patient treatments and help restore mobility. You will work under a supervising PT in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Active LPTA license in Texas.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current BLS certification.
• New graduates welcome; 1+ years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform treatments and provide exercise instruction and demonstration for patients according to established plans of care.
• Assist the supervising Physical Therapist during patient evaluations, testing, and complex procedures.
• Carry out programs of corrective exercise, therapeutic activities, manual therapy, and modalities to improve patient mobility and function.
• Monitor patient progress, document treatment sessions accurately, and communicate changes to the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and self-management strategies.
• Maintain equipment, ensure a clean and safe treatment environment, and comply with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support coordinated, high-quality patient care.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement and continuing education activities.
