We are housed in a brand‑new outpatient gym where our rehab team is committed to community outreach including hosting a monthly stroke support group. We offer one‑on‑one patient interactions, a strong team culture, rotating weekends, and opportunities for growth and development. We balance new techniques and specialties including dry needling, certified hand therapy, and FEES, with a personalized, community‑focused approach to healthcare.
A Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) who excels in this role:
Implement treatment plan developed by supervising therapist using appropriate modalities.
Seeks consultation as necessary.
Monitors patient's responses to the treatment plan.
Regularly communicates patient progress and possible goal revisions to the physical therapist.
Documents services provided and patient response/progress.
Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
Assists with patient discharge planning.
Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and community support programs
