Job summary

Jobot is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist in Texas to deliver individualized therapy across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will evaluate patients, create treatment plans, and guide care teams to maximize mobility and function.

Qualifications

  • Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Texas required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (Bachelor’s required; Doctorate preferred).
  • Current BLS certification.
  • New graduates or experienced therapists welcome; 1+ years preferred for advanced settings.
  • Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work full-time schedule including potential varied shifts or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients, establish realistic goals, and develop individualized treatment plans according to physician orders.
  • Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and rehabilitation procedures to restore function and mobility.
  • Assess patient progress regularly, modify plans as needed, and document accurately in compliance with departmental and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and support staff for coordinated patient care.
  • Provide patient and family education on home exercise programs, safety, and self-management strategies.
  • Direct and supervise technicians or support personnel while maintaining equipment safety and operation.
  • Participate in departmental quality improvement, educational programs, and policy adherence.
  • Deliver care across inpatient acute, outpatient, or rehab settings depending on assignment while promoting maximum patient independence.
