Job summary

Vivo Healthcare Gateway is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide skilled therapy services to residents in a 125-bed skilled nursing facility. The PTA will follow physician orders and individualized care plans while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates hold an active Florida PTA license, have experience in rehab settings, and possess strong communication and teamwork skills to educate residents and families about therapy goals.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Florida.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional mobility training.
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy plans and goals.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility guidelines.
