Accendra Health, operating with the Byram Healthcare brand, seeks a Licensed Pharmacy Technician to support under pharmacist supervision. The role ensures compliant, efficient pharmacy operations and serves as the primary contact for referral sources, physician offices, and patients/caregivers.

The position involves processing referrals, verifying demographics and benefits, managing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate patient records. Utah license in good standing is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in Third Party Claims processing.
• Knowledge in pharmacy operations and products utilized by our pharmacy.
• Knowledge in pharmacy regulations and documentation.
• Knowledge in pharmacy compliance issues.
• Knowledge in prescription authorization processes.
• Utah Pharmacy technician license active and in good standing.

Responsabilités

• Process new referrals completely and accurately.
• Work with pharmacist to create an efficient workflow and profitable orders.
• Communicate effectively with referral sources and patients.
• Verify patient demographics, shipping address, insurance coverage, and allergies.
• Process prescriptions, manage refills, and confirm copays prior to shipping.
• Maintain customer database with order information and communications.
• Refer clinical issues to the pharmacist for consultation.
• Answer high-volume inbound calls and assist with outbound calls as needed.
• Collaborate with all departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Assist with inventory and other duties as directed.
