King Soopers in Denver, CO is seeking a Licensed Pharmacist for a part-time role within our Health and Wellness store. You will oversee pharmacy operations, fill prescriptions, counsel patients, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Possess a current Pharmacist license in the state where employment is sought, with no stipulations or Board ordered restrictions
• Graduate of a US School of Pharmacy or have passed a foreign equivalency exam
• Successfully passed the NAPLEX exam

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates
• Answer questions regarding products and pharmacists' services
• Receive verbal RX orders and accurately reduce to writing in adherence with state and federal laws
• Interpret, fill/refill, label and bag prescription orders completely and accurately
• Provide drug counseling with customers and prescribers
• Maintain accurate records—including insurance—properly receive RX information and deliver RX to customer
• Maintain inventory and reconcile controlled substances
• Actively promote proper immunizations to patients
