Job summary

King Soopers in Colorado is seeking licensed pharmacists to fill prescriptions accurately, counsel patients, and provide pharmaceutical care within a team-focused store environment.

The role includes vaccine administration, maintaining compliance with HIPAA and state/federal laws, inventory oversight, and upholding a professional, clean pharmacy space to support customer trust and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
• Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing.
• Effective oral/written communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• 1 year of retail experience (preferred).
• Second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers' prescription needs while concentrating on the accuracy of every prescription filled.
• Administer vaccines as needed.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers.
• Ensure pharmacies comply with all local, state and federal laws (including HIPAA).
• Maintain a clean, neat work area and ensure equipment and records are properly managed.
