Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist with OH Board of Pharmacy required.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently.
• Must be multi-tasking and reliable.
• Computer literate, knowledge of LTC frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate medication orders for drug appropriateness, dosage, interactions, and administration.
• Ensure dispensed medicines are correctly supplied and labeled.
• Communicate with nursing staff, physicians, and healthcare team regarding medication-related queries.
• Supervise preparation of medicines.
• Recommend therapy changes to physicians and staff when necessary.
• Investigate and resolve medication-related queries.
• Maintain customers’ database with medical history and clinical data.
