Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers seeks a licensed Professional Engineer to serve as Project Manager in the Site Development group, based in the Nashville/Franklin area. You will lead design, client communication, permitting, and overall project management for a range of commercial developments.

You will collaborate with civil engineers, landscape architects, land planners, and surveyors to deliver thoughtful, high‑quality solutions while balancing client expectations, technical quality, budget, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
• 5+ years of experience in site design, planning, and project management.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, plan production and permitting for land development projects.
• Mentor engineers and technical staff on client projects.
• Drive proposal development and client agreements.
• Cultivate client relationships with public agencies and developers.
• Coordinate tasks, budgets and schedules to meet project timelines.
• Guide team development and career growth within projects.
• Engage in professional associations and civic activities.
• Perform related duties as needed.
