Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers in Tennessee is seeking a full-time PE‑licensed Project Manager, Site Development, based in our Franklin office. The role leads design, permitting, and client communications for a range of commercial development projects, coordinating with civil engineers, landscape architects, and surveyors to deliver public, private, and mixed-use projects.

Responsibilities include mentoring a team of engineers, developing proposals, managing tasks, budgets, and schedules, and ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
• 5+ years of experience in site design, planning, and project management
• Extensive knowledge of design and construction practices
• Proven ability to communicate orally and in writing with all levels of employees
• Overtime may be required

Responsibilities

• Lead design, plan production and permitting for land development projects.
• Lead and mentor a group of engineers and technical staff.
• Engage in proposal and client agreement development and execution.
• Develop relationships with clients, public agency officials and community leaders.
• Coordinate tasks, budgets and schedules to meet deadlines.
• Support professional development of team members.
• Participate in professional associations and civic organizations
