Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers seeks a licensed Professional Engineer to serve as a Project Manager in the Site Development team in the Nashville area. This role leads project design, client communication, permitting, and overall management for diverse commercial developments.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of site design and project management experience, with strong communication skills and the ability to balance budget and schedule while collaborating with in-house engineers and planners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
• 5+ years in site design, planning, and project management.
• Strong written and verbal communication with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, plan production and permitting for land development projects.
• Mentor engineers and technical staff to serve clients well.
• Engage in proposal development and client agreements.
• Develop relationships with clients, public officials, and community leaders.
• Coordinate tasks, budgets, and schedules to respect timelines.
• Guide project teams’ professional development and career paths.
