Job summary

Stormont Vail Health in Manhattan, KS seeks an Outpatient Treatment Clinician to provide psychotherapy to patients and families in a clinic setting. The role includes intake, assessment, diagnosis, and discharge planning under Clinical Supervisors.

Requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field and 1 year in behavioral health; LMSW/LMSW or LPC/LMFT eligibility with a Clinical Supervision Plan due within 90 days. Hybrid work model with 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or MFT required.
• 1 year of experience in behavioral health care required.
• Licensed MSW/LMSW or LPC/LMFT eligible; state Clinical Supervision Plan within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform intake and assessment with mental status exam and psychosocial history.
• Develop an individualized treatment plan with measurable goals and outcomes.
• Diagnose using DSM-V and coordinate therapy across individual, family, or group formats.
• Initiate discharge planning at admission and educate patient on prognosis and goals.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and timely documentation; participate in multi-disciplinary meetings.
• Meet productivity standards and adapt to clinic scheduling needs.
