Job summary

Stormont Vail Health is seeking an Outpatient Treatment Clinician to provide psychotherapy services to patients and families in a clinic setting. You will perform intake and assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver individual, family, and group therapy under clinical supervision.

The position requires a Master’s degree in a related field and licensure with state regulatory boards, plus at least 1 year of behavioral health care experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field is required.
• 1 year of experience in behavioral health care is required.
• Licensure as MSW/LMSW or equivalent and supervision plan within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform intake and assessment including mental status exam and psychosocial history.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and discharge plans.
• Diagnose psychiatric presentations with DSM-V knowledge and document appropriately.
• Provide individual, family and group therapy as appropriate; collaborate with supervisors.
• Initiate discharge planning at admission and support patient education and prognosis.
• Meet productivity standards and adapt schedule to patient needs and clinic operations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and ensure compliance with HIPAA and policies.
