Job summary

UnitedHealth Group’s Tides of Mind Counseling, part of the Optum family, seeks a Licensed Clinical Therapist to join our Waterbury, CT team. You will treat a wide range of mental health conditions as part of the Outpatient Therapy program, delivering evidence-based care and maintaining compliant medical records.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field.
• Active, unrestricted clinical license as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC in the state of Connecticut.
• Experience with electronic health records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance use disorders.
• Provide treatment using cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based approaches.
• Track treatment response and monitor symptoms and side effects.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to patient growth through online profiles and marketing efforts.
