Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in Illinois
• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days

Responsibilities

• Plans and administers OT treatment plans to alleviate pain, restore function, prevent disabilities, and promote health.
• Designs care plans with goals, outcomes, and discharge planning; adjusts based on patient response.
• Creates, fits, and modifies splints/orthotics.
• Educates patients, families, caregivers, and health staff using effective teaching methods.
• Performs examinations and determines appropriate diagnoses and plans of care.
• Screens patients to determine therapy needs and monitors care by support personnel.
• Communicates with medical team and documents accordingly.
• Meets customer service and productivity standards.
• Acts as clinical instructor when assigned and participates in team activities.
