Eyemart Express is seeking a Licensed Optician to guide patients in selecting eyeglass frames, lenses, and coatings tailored to their needs. You will ensure accurate measurements and prescription data for our lab techs, oversee the production process, and provide personalized care when dispensing glasses.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Optical industry experience and current state License are required.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service using optical knowledge and meet patient needs.
Stay informed about sales, promotions, and company policies.
Process payments and refunds using the Point of Sale system.
Educate patients on eyeglass care and lens options.
Process insurance claims accurately.
Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and inventory.
Create and manage confidential patient files.
Interpret prescription requirements for production.
Take measurements, prepare work orders, and ensure final products meet specifications.
Adjust and repair frames as needed.
Price, stock, and organize merchandise.
