Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• State Licensure is required.
• Optical dispensing experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener & team builder.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Awareness of current fashion trends.
• Selling skills – ability to use an iPAD/tablet.
• Familiarity with POS, computers & calculators.
• Embrace new technology & change.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers, set expectations with customers.
• Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses.
• Acts as a leader in optical acumen.
• Record measurements and adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail.
• Assist team with complex product needs & prescriptions.
• Maintain accurate product knowledge and use of technology under time pressure.
• Troubleshoot issues, ensure customer satisfaction and exceed expectations.
• Multitask and manage time with competing priorities.
• Strive to achieve KPIs and store goals.
• Keep store clean, attractive and organized.
• Report safety opportunities to management; follow safe practices.
• Be resourceful, motivated, and eager for continual learning.
