LensCrafters is seeking a Licensed Optician to join our full-time team in the Columbus area. Deliver brand value, provide legendary customer service, and craft high-quality eyewear while meeting customer expectations.

You will measure, fit, and adjust eyewear with precision and utilize the latest optical technology. Ideal candidates possess state licensure, optical dispensing experience, and strong math and sales skills.

Qualifications

High School graduate or equivalent.
State Licensure for optical dispensing.
Optical dispensing experience.
Strong customer service skills and ability to engage customers.
Knowledge of store merchandise and fashion trends.
Solid math skills and accuracy in calculations.
Selling skills and proficiency with iPad/tablet and POS.
Ability to adapt to new technology and processes.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers and set expectations for service.
Custom fit glasses and place prescriptions in lenses.
Lead with optical knowledge and assist team with complex needs.
Take and record measurements; ensure eyewear meets standards and customer needs.
Maintain accurate use of technology under time pressure and high customer volume.
Ensure store appearance is clean, attractive, and organized.
Adhere to policies including discounts, promotions, and inventory management.
