Job summary

LensCrafters in Westlake, Ohio is seeking a Casual Part-Time optical associate to join our team. You will help customers select frames and lenses, explain lens options, and ensure a positive shopping experience with accurate measurements and great service.

The role emphasizes customer care, hands-on use of technology, and collaboration with store staff while maintaining high optical standards. Previous dispensing experience and a High School diploma are preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• State licensure or certification by a nationally‑recognized opticianary association as an optician.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• Knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise assortment and use of Inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Conveys commitment to unsurpassed Customer Service by performing Sales and Service Process steps.
• Execute CEE Service Model through Connect, Explore and Exceed.
• Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses suited to lifestyle, Rx and budget.
• Operate POS with accuracy and handle payments securely.
• Educate customers on LensCrafter’s guarantees and services including tips and warranties.
