Sunglass Hut is seeking a licensed Optician to deliver outstanding service and expertly fit prescription eyewear on the sales floor. You will lead store operations, ensuring accuracy in measurements, lens fitting, and frame adjustments while supporting management to achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities include precise fitting, product knowledge, and maintaining a welcoming store environment. The role requires licensure, strong math and communication skills, and a passion for fashion trends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• State licensure in Opticianry required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills essential.
• Knowledge of fashion trends helpful to drive sales.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and set expectations for service.
• Custom fit glasses and place prescriptions with precision.
• Lead on the floor to support sales goals and store operations.
• Measure and adjust eyewear for comfort and fit.
• Maintain product knowledge and assist with complex prescriptions.
• Use technology and POS systems accurately under time pressure.
• Ensure store appearance is clean, organized and inviting.
