Sunglass Hut in Florida is seeking a licensed optician to serve as on-floor leader, fitting/adapting lenses and frames while delivering the Sunglass Hut Experience. You’ll learn store policies and operate to support sales goals.

The role requires licensure and optical dispensing experience, strong customer service, and comfort with POS systems and technology. This full-time position emphasizes teamwork, product knowledge, and a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• State licensure as an optician is required.
• Experience dispensing eyewear and fitting lenses.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Familiar with POS, tablet devices and basic math.
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers and set expectations.
• Custom fit glasses and place prescription in lenses.
• Act as a leader in optical knowledge.
• Take measurements and adjust eyewear with precision.
• Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
