Job summary

Sunglass Hut, part of EssilorLuxottica, seeks a licensed Optician to deliver expert service and eyewear fitting on the shop floor. You will lead customer interactions, accurately fit prescriptions, and support store operations to achieve sales goals.

Expect responsibilities include learning store policies, collaborating with the team, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Prior optical dispensing and licensure strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• State licensure in Opticianry preferred for position.
• Optical dispensing experience required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and set expectations.
• Custom fit glasses and place prescriptions accurately.
• Lead on optical knowledge and service quality.
• Take measurements and ensure eyewear meets standards.
• Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Maintain store appearance and inventory processes.
