Job summary

Sunglass Hut is seeking a licensed Optician to serve on the store floor, fitting lenses and frames and guiding customers through the Sunglass Hut Experience. You will lead on-the-floor activities and assist management in achieving sales goals.

Responsibilities include accurate measurements, product knowledge, and adherence to store policies while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a visually appealing, organized store.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• State Licensure in Opticianry.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener & team builder.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers, set expectations with customers.
• Custom fit glasses & precisely place prescription in lenses.
• Acts as a leader in optical acumen.
• Take & record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensure finished eyewear meets standards & customer needs.
• Assists team with complex product needs & prescriptions.
• Adhere to company policies & procedure, including discounts, promotions & inventory management.
